Sounds like a bad key switch. You could just use a jumper and bypass it.

Whatever wire gauge is needed for the current and round trip distance should be the minimum that you use. OK to go with a larger wire (smaller AWG #). But not a good practice to try to couple 2 different gauge wires with a butt crimp connector. Fuse selection should be per the heater spec.

Thanks. There is a nut on the motor shaft that secures it to the wiper mechanism. I did get that off. But without removing the three screws I don't see any path forward to get that full assembly off. That full assembly with 2 brackets is both screwed and glued to the brow. Hard to capture good...

Sounds like charger is entering a float cycle or similar and voltage is set to maintain 12.6. Could even be a state that in the Victron world is called "storage". Dig into the manual and settings.

My Hatteras 48 LRC might be similar in handling. As others stated I rarely use rudder in docking. If leaving in a fairway I tend to only use engines but if wind was really strong might add some rudder. I have no thrusters. Would be nice to have a bow thruster for the most challenging...
