How to choose a listing agent - or sell myself?

Hi all; I have a mint condition 2003 Nordic Tug that I have loved - taken the inside passage to Alaska twice. But the stage of life has come to let her go. Living in the Pacific Northwest selling a NT37 shouldn't be too tough as they perfectly fit the crusing climate for this region and the...

    Engine noise insulation?

Hi all I have a Nordic Tug 37 - wonderful long term cruising vessel. But With the Cummins 6BTA directly beneath the pilot house there is quite a lot of engine noise, even at 7-8 knot cruising speed. Has anyone investigate ways to further insulate noise from the engine room? I’d love to hear...

    Stainless rails too low

Thanks all for suggestions/advice. I did find a railmaker in the Seattle area with very good Google reviews - called NW Railmakers so I'll have them over to see what they suggest. Also - Iggy I'd love to see a photograph of what they did on your boat if you can do that.

    Stainless rails too low

Hi all I have a Nordic Tug 37 (2003) that was built and set up with the dinghy on weaver davits off the swimstep rather than atop the aft cabin with a crane. I like this setup as I use the upper deck for a seating area and also as a piloting place - (wireless remote control to the autopilot...

convert single stateroom Nordic Tug 37?

I mean TWO friends Ideally I'd like to be able to bring 2 separate friends (all male - no couples) for trips up the inside passage. One could certainly be in the salon, but I'd really like another bunk for a second friend to also join for a week or so.. thanks for you comments. Don

convert single stateroom Nordic Tug 37?

Hi all; I'm looking at purchasing a NT37 which is in stellar condition. My biggest reservation is that is was built as a single-stateroom model so has a narrow port side for washer/dryer and an additional freezer instead of the "normal" second stateroom. This portside is about 36 inches wide...

    Cummins QSB5.9 230hp longevity

Hi all; I'm looking at purchasing a 2006 Selene 40 that appears to be in excellent condition. It has been in the PNW all it's life but has been part of the Anacortes Charter fleet for several years and has 3900 hours on the Cummins QSB5.9 230hp engine. I know I'd need a careful...

    Navionics IPad

Yes easy Garmin Glo for $69 will add Bluetooth gps to any iPad and works seamlessly w my iPad running navionics. I’ve come to use this much more than the older built in Raymarine navigation on my 2008 boat. The iPad is higher resolution, way less expensive, easy to upgrade update and never...

How large trawler can I single-hand?

Hi all - I have a 32 foot Nordic Tug that I've taken all over and used and loved enough to know that I'm in this for the long haul. Now looking to trade-up to a larger trawler-style boat to accomodate guests and family for longer outings. Here's my question - I often also travel alone and...

    Backup cameras

I have a backup camera on my Nordic Tug and find it pretty useless. They give no sense of depth perception and the wide-angle lens distorts perspective. Just look out the pilothouse and trust real-life.
