We had a 2006 34T for 8 years. When buying it I noted the fwd berth felt tight but thought I'd get used to it. That never really happened for me - I found it a bit short (I'm 6') and too tight at the head. No room on that boat for a larger berth.
That said other owners are fine with the layout.
I don't know the measurements but I will say that berth - with the tapered sides - was the biggest drawback to me of our 34T. We have true-queen now that is far superior.
I'm sure this isn't the first Manatee to be repowered. You might ask in the various owners groups/forums (where there are more owners than here) for thoughts.
Interesting/glad to see I'm not alone. I've had Simrad, Raymarine, Garmin, and Furuno. Only Garmin never felt comfortable for me, even after a couple years of use. Pulled it out for Fununo which feels much more intuitive to me.
At the NL training a couple years ago Bob Senter specifically mentioned that NL had their filters manufactured to a spec they created. They found that generic filters didn't meet the needs of their application. Something about the relief valve? I don't remember the specific reason..

It got to the point that I couldn't tolerate more than 15 minutes sitting on the tubes. I tried kneeling, sitting on cushions on the floor, etc.
Got an 360FCT and love it. Plenty of room for two on the seat. Lots of legroom with the simple tube (rather than box) console design. We can...
A few months ago I just bit the bullet and pay Google for Premium - and so no ads. Don't like it but watch enough stuff there to not cut off my nose to spite..
As mentioned Aqua Maps supports Explorer Charts. It is also the only program I know of that provides USACE data - very valuable in many places like the ICW.
The NOAA charts are updated weekly from the cloud based on the published LNM (Local Notice to Mariners).
Beyond phone and tablets, Aqua...
Same as my experience. I was skeptical at first but it has worked out very well for us the past couple years.
Never any problems with timely refunds from any marina.
